Problem of the day-Car won't start and it's cold outside-Have a 9:00 class

The first thing I would do is assess the situation.  If it is my battery I would use my jumper cables or the battery starter.  If it is more of a motor issue.  I would have lots of options as to another vehicle I could take.  I could take my husband's truck, my Dad's truck, or also my Grandma's car.  All of these vehicle's have 4-wheel drive and would be good on icy roads.  These vehicles are all within five minutes of my house so it would still give me adequate time to get on my way to class.
