Why do you think there is a scientific controversy about the greenhouse affect?
Somethings in science can have different was to experiment with them. They may not have the same outcome each time the experiment is performed. Very similar to the Dr. Quantum video. They did not get the same outcome. Scientist have a debated hypothesis and the broader genre of misconceptions and misinformation. This process provides students the opportunity to gain a much deeper understanding of the climate system, the nature of scientific uncertainty, the burden of proof in ongoing research, and the difficulties in transferring scientific results to the public. This is also similar to our water experiment. We might not have the tools we need to perform the experiment and get to our hypothesis we want. The effects of the greenhouse is a very difficult debated over whether it is human caused or it is just part of nature. Some scientist believe it is just part of nature and that the other planets that don't have human life have the same results as earth. Some debate that the Earth had this effect before human.
