Why did the balloons get bigger when the pump was turned on?
The balloons got bigger because the pump was moving molecules and the air around them was being removed from the container. Which caused the balloons to suck in the air around them and getting bigger. The molecules were moving.
What was happening at the molecular level?
The molecules were moving very fast when the pump was on causing a change in the temperature. And also a change in the movement of molecues.
